I’m pretty disappointed by the scaremongering and poor reporting of todays massive global IT woes, they really haven’t made it clear that this is NOT Microsofts fault, or a problem with Windows. This issue is caused by a 3rd party business security software update that causes crashes. Obviously RelayEasy is not impacted at all, and nor is your Windows PC unless it connects to a system that runs Crowdstrike security software, which for your average user it doesn’t – though some Microsoft products are protected using Crowdstrike and they might not be up and running 100% right now. As per usual, the reporting of this is more scare em than realistic, with some outright lies thrown in as well, and just so people understand things a little better there are version of Crowdstrike for Mac and Linux platforms as well!
